MTV’s new show ‘Skins’ is an instant hit — but is it also breaking laws? A remake of the British show of the same name, ‘Skins’ takes youth sexuality to a level never before seen on television, with sex, drugs, drinking and masturbation galore. And though it’s tamer than the British original, the NY Times reports that MTV executives are scared it could be deemed child pornography. The executives ordered the producers to make changes to tone down some of the most explicit content. They are particularly concerned about the third episode of the series, which is to be broadcast Jan. 31. In an early version, a naked 17-year-old actor is shown from behind as he runs down a street. The actor, Jesse Carere, plays Chris, a high school student whose erection — assisted by erectile dysfunction pills — is a punch line throughout the episode.
Child pornography. It’s as simple as that. Especially given the image featured on the Huffington Post article. Furthermore, it continues the trend of sexualizing children and making sex cheap and disconnected from its only legitimate expression- the confines of marriage. MTV: the home of perversity on American tv. Given the atmosphere of American society, it will doubtless be a huge hit… which says a lot about the condition of the US of A.

I am so glad we serve a righteous judge. This is asinine. This is the one place I would recommend FCC censorship heavily.
