A 19-year-old Morristown man was arrested Wednesday after being accused of raping a small female child [the Knoxville paper reports that she is 5]. Justin Christian faces charges of rape of a child for allegedly having sexual contact with the child. Hamblen County Chief Deputy Wayne Mize told 6 News investigators think the alleged incidents happened several times, beginning in May. An investigation began when the child’s mother became suspicious after talking to the child.
To keep him from victimizing other little girls he should be locked away for the remainder of his natural life. That is the only safeguard society has against the vile behavior of predatory reprobates like this. And lifetime incarceration is the only merciful pathway.
