By seeking visitation with the child which resulted from his violent cruelty.
A man who raped a 14-year-old girl in 2009 is now demanding visitation rights to see the child he fathered, reports MyFox Boston. His victim, however, wants the courts to keep him away. Part of the legal problem is that a judge sentenced the man, who was 20 at the time of the assault, to 16 years’ probation instead of jail as long as he abided by the demands of probate and family courts. That means he has to pay child support, and because of that, he thinks he deserves visitation. “She got raped at 14,” says the victim’s mom. “She decided to keep her baby. And now she has to hand her baby over for a visit with her rapist?”
That should never happen. He may well rape the baby. He does have a track record of raping children. I pray heaven he isn’t allowed anywhere near this child ever. In spite of the fact that Todd Akin would doubtless tell her that if she had really been raped her body would have never allowed implantation of the embryo…..
Is there anywhere in the world that this is ok? Is there anywhere where someone can blatantly sow his seed without considering the consequences and then cavalierly ask others to put up the money to support the children he’s fathered? This is authentically sickening-
A Tennessee man who has fathered 30 children with 11 different women is asking the state for a reprieve from his child support obligations. Knoxville man Desmond Hatchett, 33, earns the minimum wage but has had his salary garnished since he had his first child 14 years ago, TV station WREG reports. Despite telling a reporter in 2009 that he was done having babies Mr Hatchett has fathered another nine children over the last three years. It’s putting pressure on his meagre salary with half of his earnings going to the mothers of his numerous families.
Unfortunately for the many mothers of Mr Hatchett’s children the state cannot take more than 50 percent of his salary so some women receive only slightly more than US1$ per month for each child. The state said it has no way to force Mr Hatchett to stop having children. In 2009 Mr Hatchett told an interviewer “I had four kids in the same year. Twice.” He is believed to be the Knox County record holder for the most children fathered.
The mothers of these children are equally responsible. If you can’t afford a child, don’t have one. If you can’t afford 10, don’t have 10. If you can’t afford 1, you sure as heck can’t afford 30!!!!! What depravity.
A Florida ex-marine who broke his wife’s nose and jaw in a judge’s chambers was sentenced to 15 years in prison Friday afternoon. In April 2011,Paul Gonzalez, 29, became enraged when Judge Ronald Rothschild ordered him to pay child support for the couple’s two young children. He viciously beat his wife, Catie Scott-Gonzalez, in front of the judge at the Broward County Courthouse.
Gonzalez was accused of beating his wife, inflicting a fractured jaw, a broken nose, bruised, black eyes, bloody lips and other injuries. At his sentencing Friday, his lawyers filed a motion of downward departure, which essentially meant leniency, partially because, they argued, he suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder after his stint in the military.
Another wicked reprobate unwilling to take responsibility for his evil. It’s not his fault, he was in the military… except for the fact that lots of people in the military never behave that way. His disorder is an evil and perverted heart, not his military service.
Poor thing can’t live on $20,000 a month, so she had her baby daddy served while he was playing hoops…
Orlando guard Gilbert Arenas was served with child support and custody papers as he left the court during halftime of the Magic’s loss to Miami on Thursday night. The court documents, obtained by The Associated Press, were a California petition filed by Laura Mendoza Govan. She identified herself as his ex-girlfriend in the documents. The petition seeks custody and child support for three children that Govan says Arenas fathered and has since “financially cut off.” She is also seeking support for another unborn child, as well as monthly support for the other children. In the petition, she is seeking $109,000 in monthly support payments from Arenas and $1.3 million annually.
He said he wasn’t surprised by Govan serving him with the petition. He also disputed her claim that he hasn’t supported her financially. “I don’t pay much attention to it because this is who she is as a person,” he said. “It’s sad that it has to be in the public’s eye. She gets money. I mean when a girl asks for $100,000 a month and you say no, that doesn’t mean you’re cut off. You’re still getting 20. … That’s the thing that bothers me. She tells the world that she’s not getting money. She gets $20,000 a month.”
Poor thing… he surely can’t expect her to live on that paltry amount…
