This Will Make the Teenage Boys in California Very Happy!

The cultural debate over “transgender rights” in public schools has moved to California, where a legislative committee passed a bill Wednesday (April 17) that would outlaw sex-segregated bathrooms and athletic teams.

Under the bill — which passed the Assembly Education Committee by a vote of 5-2 — a student will be “permitted to participate in sex-segregated school programs, activities, and facilities, including athletic teams and competitions,” consistent with “his or her gender identity, irrespective of the gender listed on the pupil’s records.”

This means that boys who say they identify as girls can use the girls’ restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa. It also means that girls who want to play on boys’ teams, and boys who want to play on girls’ teams, will be allowed to do so. The key will be their “gender identity” — what sex they identify as — and not their birth certificate.

So, boys, all you will have to do soon is tell the folk standing around the school bathroom that you just feel like a girl and you’ll be able to troll the girl’s bathroom to your heart’s content. And the girls will be able to troll the boy’s. Isn’t that special?

We live in a culture morally adrift and without mooring, compass, or course.

Anthony LeDonne and Jesus Online

Anthony announces

In this course we will examine some of the different “Jesuses” who have emerged through the ages, including several interpretations of Jesus in historical studies, and several interpretations of Jesus from art and literature. This course will weave together three primary threads: 1) the Jesus of history; 2) ancient representations of Jesus; and 3) the various modern Jesuses who embody various symbols, ideologies, collective memories, and cultural identities. Through lecture and discussion, we will examine diverse portraits of Jesus in history, literature, art, song, and film throughout history. This class will run from early June to mid-July. It will be hosted and accredited by the oldest university in California: University of the Pacific. You do not need to be admitted to the university as a full-time student to take this class.  If you’re interested and would like to learn more, email me at aledonne at pacific dot edu.

Once a Pedophile, Always a Pedophile

Here’s another example of the fact that pedophiles, once arrested, tried, and convicted, should never, ever be released.

A California soccer coach came to the rescue after a 425-pound man with more than 60 prior arrests allegedly tried to kidnap one of his young players.  Santa Ana police officers arrested Victor Joseph Espinoza, of Santa Ana, Thursday, after he allegedly grabbed a 10-year-old boy who was headed to soccer practice, Officer Anthony Bertagna from the Santa Ana police said.  Espinoza allegedly approached the 10-year-old and his 19-year-old female cousin, who was accompanying him to practice at approximately 7:20 p.m. Thursday. The 425-pound man allegedly grabbed the boy and wouldn’t let go as he screamed.  The boy finally broke free and ran to practice with his cousin, where they told the soccer coach. The 10-year-old and his cousin were both very shaken by the incident, Bertagna said.  “The little boy came crying at me, saying that man wanted to take him,” the coach told ABC station KABC-TV in Los Angeles. “He said that he grabbed him and he started smelling him.”

Bloody perverted reprobate.  Prison is where he belongs and to prison he should go and stay.

California’s Pedophiles Are Upset… That they Can’t Celebrate… Halloween…

Golly gee Mr  Pedophile… we just can’t understand what the State is thinking when it refuses to allow you to mingle with little children…

Five California sex offenders and their families are suing the city of Simi Valley, Calif., claiming that Halloween restrictions placed on them through a new law violate their right to free speech.  The group filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court Friday against Simi Valley, a city 37 miles northwest of Los Angeles.  Under the ordinance, Simi Valley’s 119 registered sex offenders are banned from displaying Halloween decorations at their homes. They are required on Oct. 31 to turn off all exterior lighting and post a sign on their doors that reads in at least one-inch-tall letters: “No candy or treats at this residence.”  “People are thinking this is because registrants want to pass out candy to children. That is not the case for me,” a 46-year-old registered sex offender and father of two told ABCNews.com.  He is one of the anonymous plaintiffs suing the city to have the law struck down, and asked that his name not be used.   “This ordinance affects the residents,” he said. “It is being enforced on my wife and my children. My kids can not even carve a pumpkin and put it on the front porch.”

Trolling for children as ‘free speech’.  That’s a new one.  Once a molester, always a molester.  California is right to limit contact between pedophiles and children.

By the way, go to your local Sex Offender Registry and make sure that your children and grandchildren DON’T go to the houses of anyone therein listed.  You can find it via Google.

Do You Think Your Spouse is Mean Sometimes?

There’s no way they could be as mean as Omaima Nelson

A woman who killed her newlywed husband and chopped and cooked his body parts over Thanksgiving weekend in 1991 is seeking release from a California prison.  Omaima Nelson, an Egyptian-born former nanny, is set to appear before parole commissioners Wednesday at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla where she has been serving a life sentence. Nelson was convicted of murdering her 56-year-old husband William Nelson in a grisly killing that authorities likened to the fictional slayings of Hannibal Lecter.

I don’t think they should let her out.  She’s clearly as vicious as they come.

Did You Know that In Some Parts of the World you Can Be Fined for Hosting a Bible Study?

Where?  Which anti-Christian third world country would restrict the free expression of Christian faith?

If you guessed the United States, you’re right…

A California couple has been fined by the city of San Juan Capistrano for holding Bible studies and religious gatherings in their home, which has some wondering about the future of religious freedom in America. Chuck and Stephanie Fromm, residents of San Juan Capistrano, home to the oldest church in California, were fined $300 for the religious activities, which the city said violated a municipal code that prohibits “religious, fraternal or non-profit” organizations in residential neighborhoods without a conditional-use permit,” the Capistrano Dispatch reported.

Welcome to the land of the free…

Who Caused the San Diego Outage? Where in the World is Chris Tilling Now?

Power lines at Big Creek, CA - Southern Califo...

Well Chris Tilling, of course, who has been ‘moonlighting’ as a technician for Arizona Power and Lights (APL).

An unprecedented power outage spread across Southern California, parts of Arizona and into Mexico on Thursday, leaving as many as 5 million people in the dark. The outage began locally about 3:30p.m. and cut off power to customers of Imperial Irrigation District, San Diego Gas and Electric and Southern California Edison.

And moreover

The international outage was triggered by an utility employee who was removing equipment at a substation near Yuma, according to APS, Arizona’s largest electricity utility. That set off a series of California events that shut down both generators at San Onofre Nuclear Power Station, said Mike Niggli, COO of San Diego Gas & Electric Co.

Chris, you’re a brilliant New Testament scholar but you’re a wretched electrician.

Sad News: The Single American Tsunami Victim

Indications are that only one American (and that’s one too many) has died as a consequence of the massive tsunami that swept across the Pacific today and collided with the West Coast:

A 25-year-old man who was washed out to sea while trying to photograph the tsunami in northern California was confirmed dead Friday, according to Del Norte, California, authorities.

Stay away from the sea.  It’s far too dangerous just now.  And pray for the countless number of people in Japan affected far more profoundly.

While Chile Rescued Miners, A California Mom Butchered Her Babies

The contrast could not be more dramatic. While Chile was in the process of rescuing 33 trapped miners further north in California a mother stabbed her 3 year old twin daughters to death and then set the house on fire to destroy the evidence.

A California mother accused of stabbing her twin 3-year-old daughters to death before attempting to take her own life and setting fire to her apartment has been arrested. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Monica McCarrick was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of murder, two counts of child abuse resulting in death and one count each of arson and destruction of evidence.

How come these would be suicides always seem to do a better job at killing their children than themselves? And why, if in the throes of some emotional agony, kill your children in the first place? Take them somewhere safe before you do damage to yourself. They are not at fault.

I don’t understand how people can be so cruel to their own children. But I haven’t, I suppose, plumbed the depths of depravity. Miss McCarrick has, on the other hand, imbibed depravity to the dregs.  And her victims were two little girls.

Such, though, are the contrasts evident in our wicked, depraved, and fallen world.  For every act of heroism and sacrifice there are ten acts of violence and cruelty.
