I understand the urge to ‘get even’ that seems to be driving so many who support kicking the press secretary out of a restaurant. I guess that’s who many have chosen to be: vindictive, small, and just as deplorable as the deplorables. But it won’t lead to victory. It will only contribute to further divisions and an endless cycle of pettiness and viciousness.
If that’s what the majority of Americans want to become, let them. I’ve never wanted to be in the majority.
