The Meeter Center is delighted to announce that they have a new fellowship available starting in 2018-19. Thanks to the generosity of the Meeter family, a fellowship of $,3500 for a month to six weeks’ research at the Meeter Center in Grand Rapids will be open to faculty and independent scholars in Calvin studies/Calvinism, Reformation studies, or early modern Europe. The deadline for receipt of completed applications is January 1, 2018. The proposal should clearly show the central importance of primary/secondary sources held in the Meeter Center/Hekman Library for the intended research project. The application form is available at https://calvin.edu/…/fellowships-…/meeter-family-fellowship/
Applicants should have completed their PhD before the start of the fellowship. Preference will be given to candidates whose research connects Reformation-era topics to issues of current concern in contemporary church and society.
Please pass on this information to other interested colleagues, and explore our other fellowship opportunities for faculty, graduate students, and pastors in the Reformed tradition. All completed applications are due January 1 each year. Applications may be sent as email attachments to firstname.lastname@example.org
