News From Ming Hua Theological College

We are delighted to inform you that the partnership of our College with Charles Sturt University Australia (CSU) to roll out accredited degree programmes in Bachelor of Theology and Master of Theology has received formal approval from the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government. As a result of this partnership, Ming Hua is now a member of the School of Theology at CSU which transforms us to become part of the largest university theology school in Asia Pacific. The university degrees offered are both internationally and locally recognized; with the approval from the Education Bureau, they have the same status as any other degrees offered by universities in Hong Kong.

Autumn semester is now open for enrollment. Please refer to the attached timetable for subjects offered this semester.


WHO IS CHARLES STURT UNIVERSITY?

Charles Sturt University (CSU) was established in 1989, and is Australia’s largest regional university and the country’s leading provider of distance education. It is a leading player in international research in a number of fields, including theology, ethics and education. The School of Theology at CSU is the largest in Asia Pacific, with more than 40 faculty members and 600 students.

CSU has an established reputation for its emphasis on student learning, quality teaching and research. These are combined with a flexible learning environment which includes face-to-face teaching, distance education, intensives, web forums, study skills tutoring and a host of other features all designed to increase student participation. In addition to distance learning, CSU has four Australian campuses.
