The Sixteenth Century Society and Conference (SCSC) is now accepting proposals for individual presentation submissions and complete panels for its 2017 annual conference. In this year, celebrating the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s “Ninety-Five Theses,” the SCSC will meet in Milwaukee, a city with a proud German and Lutheran heritage. As always, we will accept papers on any topic within the “long sixteenth century,” not just those on Germany, or Lutheran subjects.
Abstracts (up to 250 words in length) for individual presentations and complete panels must be submitted online using the links at left. Within four weeks after the April 15 deadline, the Program Committee will notify all those who submitted proposals. The conference will once again host poster sessions. Poster proposals should be submitted as “papers” to the digital history track. Please email: email@example.com for a poster session code BEFORE submitting poster proposals.
