Students are paying higher tuition than ever. Why can’t more of that revenue go to the people teaching them?

That’s the question posed in this essay in the Atlantic. The essay is titled There Is No Excuse for How Universities Treat Adjuncts.  It’s a great essay.

  1. Dr. west, look for a study done some years ago by a former Economics Nobel laureate who at the time was a professor at Penn or Penn St. Analyzed what tuition would be if all tenured profs were required to teach merely 3-4 hours a week. Astounding. (Sorry to be so indefinite.)
