Bob Dylan… Nobel Prize… For… ‘Literature’…

Yeah ok.  Bob Dylan’s Nobel prize for literature ranks right up there with Barack Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize.  #BothAreAbsurd.  #TheCommitteeIsHigh.  #OnlyPeopleWhoAreHighCanListenToDylan

  1. Lisbeth S. Fried says:

Imo, Bob Dylan personally ended the Viet Nam war.

  2. It was actually for his DICTION and ENUNCIATION…

  3. Come on, dear Jim, you know and can do better than this. That the Nobel Prize was awarded to Kissinger and Obama, does not disqualify other awards.

And in itself, it is fitting to stress that literature is not just the written word, but also the performed word: see Homer, the author of the Sermon on the Mount, the sermons of so many teachers, or the speeches of Churchill and M.L. King.

If someone deserved the Nobel prize, it was Bob Dylan. 😉
