Donald Trump Told Evangelicals He Needed to Win to Go to Heaven

Did any of the so called Evangelicals in the room stand up and correct his heretical works righteousness Pelagianism disguised as what they took to be a joke?  Because they sure should have.  They all should have.  Silence in the face of a lie even under the cover of jest is the assistance of lying.  Indeed, if anyone needs basic instruction in Christian doctrine, it’s Trump.  So you would think a room full of self professed Christians would say something.  Something like ‘you know, Mr Trump, you jest, but in fact the only way you or anyone else will arrive in heaven is by faith in Christ.  Not even being elected President will do it’.

“This will be an election that will go down in the history books for the evangelicals, for the Christians, for everybody of religion. This will be maybe the most important election the country has ever had,” Trump said.  “So go out and spread the word, and once I get in, I’ll do my thing that I do very well. And I figure it’s probably — maybe the only way I’m going to get into heaven, so I better do a good job.” The crowd laughed at the joke as Trump wrapped up his speech. It was the second time Thursday that Trump made a joke about his past indiscretions.
Christians feel nothing but sorrow for their sins.  Do you know any serious Christians who talk about their lives in rebellion boastfully or jokingly?  I don’t.

Another ridiculous statement from Trump! But worse that any of his many ridiculous statement is the condescending stance of the media toward the American people keeping in the forefront of the news all the Trump buffoonery because they believe that this is how the American electorate chooses its government, that is, “he/she said and says mean (dumb) things.” Sadly the media is right and they take advantage that no one cares not only about the Clinton lies but also, as fresh as this morning dew, the discovery of the lie the Obama administration is telling the American’s by painting a rosy picture of the war with ISIS. Come on, Americans!!! Which is worse??? To say “mean things” or “dumb things” that only offend the susceptibilities of the over-sensitive touchy-feely ones of a lie that has to do with the once sacred confidence (trust would be too much to ask!) that we place in our political leaders to tell us the truth in matters of National Security? If nothing else at least ask, whoever lies in these important matters, what else about which they won’t lie? Well, but Trump is mean and dumb… But, then, so is the American people for being mind-numbed to the very serious banana republic ways in which they are being led by the current administration! Would you rather have a harmless babbler of “mean or dumb” things or a blunt, shameless, third world class (no offense to the third world) liar whose lies may threat your very existence? I’d say, vote for neither for voting for neither is also voting! Too long? Yes. But the emphasis on Trump stupidity at the sacrifice of reporting the dangerous lies we’re being told is making me seethe in rage!
