Colleagues will be saddened to learn of the death of Charles Cranfield (1915-2015), Professor Emeritus of Theology, University of Durham.
We will all have cause to be grateful for his immense contribution to New Testament scholarship, not least his two volume commentary on Romans (1975, 1979), and commentary on Mark (1959).
