Martin Hengel’s ‘Die Septuaginta als “christliche Schriftensammlung”, ihre Vorgeschichte und das Problem ihres Kanons’, in Hengel and Schwemer (eds.), Die Septuaginta zwischen Judentum und Christentum, pp. 182–284, should not be overlooked by anyone in the grip presently of Septuagint-o-mania.
