A Large Majority of Americans Have no Interest in An Atheist President

61% in fact.  While only 5% would support someone for President because the candidate was an atheist.  Via Conrad Hackett of the Pew Research group.

  3. Thanks for sharing this! It makes me think of those surveys where a large percentage of participants claim to be a Christian … yet, such a small percentage “admit” that they go to a church regularly. We must always remember that God is still in charge of world events, as we are reminded of in Psalms 75:6-7: “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.
