Facebook Your Way to Jail

A Clayton County man said a SWAT team swarmed his house because of something his 17-year-old son posted on Facebook.  Police told Channel 2 Action News that Jonathan Oliver posted pictures of himself waving a gun along with comments that he wanted to kill police.  Investigators said they also had warrants for his arrest on charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault in connection with a street robbery and a gang.  The teen’s father, who didn’t want to be identified, said his son and nephew were upstairs asleep when the police arrived. He walked Channel 2’s Erica Byfield through the home.

Small wonder he didn’t wish to be identified.  I wouldn’t want to be identified if my child were a gang-banger who was foolish enough to post his evil intentions on Facebook either.

I think every thug and thief and planner-of-evil-things ought to post their intentions on Facebook.
