    that’s what I used to say when I was little when I heard arguing. Or if someone was arguing with mum, I’d say ‘mum’s always right’ (which naturally she was of course). I still can’t cope with people arguing …

      no, it isnt. it’s subject to either correct understanding or misunderstanding.

    Jim in this case is right. And the correct interpretation is Jim’s interpretation (this used to work – my magic words spoken and the arguing would stop)
