It’s not the first time and it won’t be the last I’m sure, but it is interesting. It all came about because the commentator Jeff was disgruntled that I removed his comments from an earlier post because he – while cowering behind ‘anonymity’, felt free to insult.
You can see in the comments screenshot (click to enlarge) that Jeff posted one comment using his name and email address (and of course WordPress also includes the IP address of every commentator or would be commentator). Then, he made his not so veiled threat using a fraudulent name and email address… but from the same IP address.
What this demonstrates is that 1) some viewers of Fox News are given to instability when they don’t get their way. 2), That they are willing to threaten people with violence. And 3), that I for one won’t let their works of darkness stay in the dark.
So, if anything should happen to yours truly, I think you can alert the police where to begin their search.

2.) ENOUGH with the Fox News stuff! I watch Fox News, when I can stomach watching the news at all. As ALWAYS, I maintain that their NEWS coverage is very fair. Their EDITORIAL shows are decidedly conservative. So what? CNN/MSNBC/NPR/PBS etc all lean to the left. The left had a monopoly in news until the late 80’s early 90’s. A little ideological competition too tough for you lefties? Or is just ratings envy?????/

Sadly that IP info isn’t nearly as useful as it could be. Embarq is now Century Link, and they’re just an ISP, so all you know is the person came from some customer of theirs. Narrows it down for sure, but doesn’t point a finger at the specific person

not to get Eric going, but I really don’t think survey or studies like the one showing people who watch Fox news as unbalanced or such as really a good survey. I am sure I could find the same from people who watch any other “news” channel. Frankly, they all have their slant or interpretation on the news. I really use to like to listen to the BBC, but I think they are not as good as they use to be. I almost never watch the news on television, and when I do, its just local stuff.
