Betty Sugiyama was rushing to catch a train for a shopping trip when authorities say the unthinkable happened: A homeless woman leapt from a bench and shoved her onto the tracks. Witnesses said the woman then calmly returned to her seat as Sugiyama lay on the tracks with a cracked skull. The 84-year-old LittleTokyo resident died soon after, and the suspect was arrested on murder charges.
*Sigh* Such brutality and senselessly depraved inhumanity. Ghastly. And Tom Verenna thinks it’s deplorable as well. Be warned friends, it’s dangerous to trust strangers… and that’s terribly sad.
