The 10-10-10 Marriage Boom

I think it safe to confidently assert that all those deluded souls who married today just because they thought the date ‘meaningful’ will be divorced by 11-11-11. Marrying for any reason other than the fact that God has ‘joined them together’ ensures a marriage doomed to failure from the outset. It doesn’t matter what sort of maniacal interest there is in some numerical excuse.

Well Jim. I hope that all of the couples who got married yesterday prove you wrong. As I also got married yesterday, not because of thinking that the number 10 is lucky (As I only found out today that it is the number for “perfection” in Chinese believes) but because it had a nice “ring” to it, and myself and my now wife have been together for 9 years and simply love and adore each other. As for your view on the “meaningfulness” of 10-10-10. Any number can be meaningful for a person, they all simply chose 10.

Well thanks. But its worth hoping that all couples succeed in marriage as it is one of the most sacred traditions. So, to all who got married, and those who plan on getting married, Good Luck and God bless

I got married yesterday!!! And I know we won’t be divorced in a year and some change, but thanks for the vote of confidence. We picked that day because it was a special number to my sister who passed away.
