More About the Newly Published ‘The Jewish Annotated New Testament’

28 Oct

I mentioned this the other day and the copy I ordered arrived today.  I’ve thumbed through it and it’s exceptional.  The version utilized is the NRSV (a far superior translation to the NIV, the TNIV, the NKJV and many others) and it is heavily annotated.  There are introductions to each book and there are loads of supplemental explanational materials.  I’ve snapped a few photos – and I’ve left them quite large so that you can read the text if you wish.

Again, A-J and Marc are to be applauded for their excellent contribution to the field of study we all love.
