Today I received the official news that a grant that I applied for (along with Drs. Udi Weiss and Liora Horwitz) on the application of an “invasion biology” perspective on the study of the LB/Iron Age transition at Tell es-Safi/Gath, was accepted. The grant, from the prestigious BIKURA/FIRST track of the Israel Science Foundation, will enable to work on this topic for the next three years.
