Here’s my answer, Scott-
bibliobloggers are male sbl members who blog. thats my own personal definition and that’s the one i adhere to. no one else is as they are irretrievably and eternally unrecognized by me.
female sbl members who blog are ‘femi-bibliobloggers’, an auxiliary of the male bibliobloggers.
bloggers who call themselves bloggers but who are atheists are ‘pretendo-bibliobloggers’ because they’re just pretending to blog about the bible. they’re really blogging about why they hate christianity.
and non sbl members who blog are ‘dilly-bloggers’ for obvious reasons.
[i.e., 'biblioblogging' means so many things to so many people that now it's essentially a meaningless title- which is why i have, and use, my own definition].

I wonder how much indulgence should one pay to cross from blog-purgatory to the blissful elite class of SBL BLOGGERS a.k.a bibliobloggers?

I am almost afraid to ask, but why is this your definition of a biblioblogger? Sounds sexist to me. “bibliobloggers are male sbl members who blog. thats my own personal definition and that’s the one i adhere to. no one else is as they are irretrievably and eternally unrecognized by me.”

its not really a definition. the bracketed material explain my position. the rest is all balderdash. the term is now virtually meaningless because it’s applied to everyone from atheists to theists to creationists to agnostics to people who have a bible somewhere in their house… its just an empty word.
