Working with the public is always an adventure, as people can come unhinged over the smallest things. Like this woman in Florida (watch the video).
Sheriff’s said Tara Lyons, 38, was upset and complained about her breakfast sandwich after she thought someone spit in her breakfast sandwich at a Burger King in Oakland Park, near Ft. Lauderdale. Lyons attempted to climb over the counter to get to the store manager, but was pushed to the floor. Lyons then started throwing breakfast sandwiches and condiments at Burger King employees.
You never see that kind of thing at Panera Bread. Or Starbucks. But I’ve never really cared about Burger King. It’s kind of gross and the floors always feel like they have a think sheet of grease on them (just like KFC).
The moral? Stick with Panera or Starbucks and you’ll avoid violence.
Had something like this happen at Walmart recently. The police were not amused.
