America’s Extreme Home Makeover has nothing on the Chinese. Those guys can build an entire 15 story hotel in a mere 6 days.
A construction crew in the south-central Chinese city of Changsha has completed a 15-story hotel in just six days. If nothing else, this remarkable achievement will stoke further complaints from American economic pundits that China’s economy is far more accomplished than ours in tending to such basics as construction.
My first thought? I’ve no interest in staying in any hotel built in less than a week.
Me either. only a very stupid person would think such a building is built to last.

A bit of fun and a great headline but clearly the whole process took substantially longer – The design, the laying of foundations, the prefabrication of parts, and the fit out, and so on. And just look at the number of cranes thrown at the construction! This could be done in any technologically advanced country, given the desire. Presumably those involved justwant to grab a headline – which they have done successfully!
